Redevco appoints Lara Young as Head of Sustainable Operations

London, 19 January 2026 – Redevco, one of Europe’s largest privately owned real estate managers, today announces the appointment of Lara Young as Head of Sustainable Operations effective 19 January 2026. Lara will be based in Redevco’s London office and will report directly to Chris Fleetwood, Chief Operating & Sustainability Officer.

In her new role, Lara will drive the implementation of Redevco’s sustainability agenda, including its commitment to achieving net zero carbon across the portfolio by 2040. She will also oversee the integration of ESG principles across property development, asset management, and operations, ensuring Redevco continues to pioneer positive change in the built environment while meeting evolving regulatory requirements and industry reporting standards.

Lara joins Redevco from Stoneweg, previously Cromwell Property Group, where she served as Group Head of ESG, leading sustainability initiatives across Europe and Australia. Prior to that, she held senior roles at Costain, including Group Climate Director and Group Carbon Manager.

Lara is currently a Charter environmentalist and Fellow of both the Institute for Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (SEP) and Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). She is a Board Member for the Society for Environment and has been recognised with multiple industry awards, including Energy & Carbon Leader of the Year (2021) and Highly Commended for Engineering Excellence in the 2024 ICE Gold Medal Award.
